Confusing words

This is an area that I am sure even many native speakers have problems with and not only learners of English.

In this unit we feature many examples where it is not always clear what the exact differences are between words. Often these words are synonyms, but can seem strange when used in the wrong context.

I wonder how many native speakers beginning their teaching careers are able to explain the differences between certain words.

And Chopin was a composer, not a compositor.
