The Past Simple story

Below is a lovely, fantastically-written story, using only irregular verbs. Unfortunately, the lazy author has decided only to use the infinitive form of the verb. Can you rewrite the text changing the infinitive irregular verbs into their correct past tense forms?

I am going to tell you about my flight.

Last week I buy a plane ticket and fly to London. It cost 200 dollars. I drive to the airport, and then I take a plane from San Francisco. I sit by the window. I know it would be a long flight, and it be a long flight. I know that I have to be comfortable, so I wear a T-shirt and jeans. The airline show movies and I eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. The airline also sell beer! I have two beers, which I drink too quickly! (I pay 20 dollars, which be very expensive!) Over the next ten hours, I read a book, I speak to the passenger next to me, and I also sleep. I dream that I be still in San Francisco! I wake up as we are about to land. I get off the plane and go to get my luggage. First, I have to go through passport control where I show my documents, and then customs. Then I catch a bus to London and meet my guide who tell me about all the wonderful sights to see.

The Past Simple story: the answers

I am going to tell you about my flight.

Last week I bought a plane ticket and flew to London. It cost 200 dollars. I drove to the airport, and then I took a plane from San Francisco. I sat by the window. I knew it would be a long flight, and it was a long flight. I knew that I had to be comfortable, so I wore a T-shirt and jeans. The airline showed movies and I ate breakfast, lunch and dinner. The airline also sold beer! I had two beers, which I drank too quickly! (I paid 20 dollars, which was very expensive!) Over the next ten hours, I read a book, I spoke to the passenger next to me, and I also slept. I dreamed that I was still in San Francisco! I woke up as we were about to land.
