The job of the animator is to keep all the young children happy and to keep an audience happy when watching a show and there is a break.

 

Actually, no.

 

An animator is a person whose job is to make films in which drawings, puppets, or even computer graphics appear to move – or to animate them. This person works in animation.

 

When it comes to the job of keeping children happy at a party, they are simply entertainers. For those people whose job is to keep the adults happy – particularly when getting them into the right mood before a comedy is performed and recorded for television, then they are a warm-up comedian or a crowd-warmer.
